Welcome to the quiet obsession
This is
The Frontier
Atelier.
The Frontier Atelier is a private studio for collectors who have already outgrown the catalogue. A small room, dark walls, very few chairs — and a single question: what would you make if nothing was off the table?
We take that answer and quietly build it. One commission at a time, with the most exacting hands in their disciplines — from a goldsmith in Florence to a sound designer who scores cathedrals. The result is never a product. It is a singular object you happen to own. We can build anything you can imagine.
Practice
Your singular vision. Made real, slowly.
Two ways to work with us — both private, both unhurried. Either we summon a maker on your behalf, or our own studio takes the pencil. The conversation always starts with a long, quiet dinner.

Commissioned Collaborations
We open private doors. Quietly pair you with the designer, maker or storied house whose hands you have always wanted to direct — and produce a single, signed piece together.

The Studio's Own Hand
When no maker yet exists for what you want, our in-house studio invents the discipline. New rituals, strange objects, beautiful machines — drawn, prototyped and made under one roof.
House Code
Driven by a custom spirit.
Allure
Desire, slowly built. We design for the second glance, not the first.
Hush
What we make is private. What is private is rarely loud.
Frontier
We take the unanswered question and treat it as the brief.
Soul
Every object carries the fingerprint of a single human. That is what makes it breathe.
Discretion
We sign nothing in public. We are very good at keeping secrets.

By invitation
Welcome to the Salon.
Once a season, we open a private room — Paris, Kyoto, Mexico City — and assemble eight collectors, three makers and a long table. Nothing is for sale. Things are simply made there.
The Counsel
Call them your dream cabinet.
Behind every commission sits a small, very quiet group of advisors — people who have spent careers next to the world's most discerning clients. They know what to ask, who to call at midnight, and what should never be put in writing.
- Marek Reichman, Head of Design, Aston Martin
- Bjarke Ingels, BIG Architects
- David Adjaye, Adjaye Associates
- Helen Aboah, Atelier Jolie
- Gordon Knox, ResArts
The AI Artisans
Five quiet voices, one private dialogue.
An orchestrated circle of artificial artisans, summoned at the centre of your idea. The Concierge speaks. The Muse, the Curator, the Maker-Matcher and the Scribe listen from the next room — and answer only when called.
- 01
Concierge— 01 — Interrogates
Asks until your taste, your refusals and your private references are on the table.
- 02
Muse— 02 — Reads the want
Receives the dossier. Names the secret want, the sensory vision, the refusal.
- 03
Curator— 03 — Finds lineage
Reads the Muse. Returns the two or three precedents this commission would join.
- 04
Maker-Matcher— 04 — Chooses the hands
Reads Muse + Curator. Assigns a discipline and a maker archetype.
- 05
Scribe— 05 — Consolidates
Synthesises all four into one comprehensive private commission brief.
The Alchemist · Patent Atelier
From commission brief to filing packet.
When the dialogue concludes, the Scribe's brief flows directly into the Alchemist — where it becomes a structured patent specification, hi-res renders, engineering schematics and a consolidated, downloadable application.
The Makers
Meet the hands.
Every commission begins with a one-to-one — a long conversation between you and a single, brilliant maker. We sit beside you for all of it.
In the lineage of SCPS Unlimited
For more than two decades, SCPS Unlimited has quietly conjured the objects that did not yet exist — the suits, ships, creatures and impossible props that the world's greatest filmmakers, fashion houses and private collectors imagined but could not find. From the spice-stained armour of Dune to the coach-built phantoms of Ahsoka, from Interstellar's tactile futures to Met Gala spectacles and one-of-one commissions for collectors who refuse the catalogue — every piece is engineered with a craftsman's patience and a cinematographer's eye.
The Frontier Atelier inherits that same standard. We work, hand in hand, with the artisans, fabricators, sculptors and engineers who translate the unbuildable into the held. Each commission is a private collaboration with the maker most suited to your obsession — the same caliber of hands trusted by directors, designers and discerning patrons the world over.
In Preparation
A short film about the people who make beautiful things in private.
